My professor and friend Barry Truax was honoured with the degree of Doctor of Fine Arts Honoris Causa by Simon Fraser University (SFU). The university where I met him nearly four decades ago. I have no words to describe my admiration for this outstanding professor, innovative creator and exceptional human being, whom I had the pleasure of assisting in one of his courses, during my stay at that university, and under whose supervision I completed my MA degree.
